For my son's first Halloween as a walking, talking, costumed creature a couple years ago (he's a September baby, so for his first Halloween, he got rolled into his pumpkin costume and liked it), we threw a small party in our apartment. And given that we had about a thousand large cardboard boxes hibernating in our basement, I decided to put his high-chair container to use, and build him a small haunted house that he and his little buddies could hide in and climb around.
