Royal Albert London Tea Tour

Time Out says

Teatime goes retro on this whistlestop tour hosted by purveyors of fine floral china, Royal Albert (yes, the company's been around since Victorian times, just like the custom of taking afternoon tea). Look out for the vintage-themed van serving up macaroons and other afternoon treats along, of course, with a proper cuppa – all free – at the following venues: Sep 21: Golden Square, W1F 9JG; Sep 22: Kew Green, TW9 3AH; Sep 26: Bloomsbury Square, WC1A; Oct 5: Old Spitalfields Market, E1 6EW. If you've been itching to don that flannel and tweed set ever since 'The Chap Olympiad', this could be a dream tea as thirsty fans of retro threads are invited to mix sartorial pleasure with their scoff. Enjoy petit fours in your best plus fours or cram in a cake or two while sporting your favourite cape. If your wardrobe doesn't extend to grandma chic, there'll be a dressing up box and props to play around with and you can pose for a Polaroid to take away.
