Amazing little spot in Nunhead that’s a perfect diversion on a walk or place to explore on its own. No new bodies have been laid to rest here for decades so its very quiet with lots of very old gravestones, some quite spooky. All up hill at the end you get the amazing treat of a clear view over London and a little bench to sit on to do so. I could spend ages here, its glorious!

There is a fate run by the vicar here every summer and its super fun, very touching community atmosphere and not infiltrated by too much of the young crowd- just a good balance!

Hi! We are designing an online guide to London cemeteries for visitors as part of our Cross-platform and Social Media Strategies MA course at Goldsmiths. As you appear to have visited cemeteries, we are asking you to help us get it right. Please would you answer a few questions below. The information you provide will help us shape our proposition and submission. They will not be passed onto any third parties. Thank you so much! x
