Unlike Donald Trump's approval rating, London’s appetite for street food shows no sign of dropping anytime soon. So it’s music to our ears, and good news for our stomachs, that Southwark is getting a new foodie hub. Flat Iron Square will be swinging open its doors this Thursday – bringing food, booze and good vibes to SE1. Taking over seven railway arches and the surrounding area, this Bankside newcomer has a tasty line-up of 13 restaurants and food trucks including the ever-popular Savage Salads, sweet treats from Where the Pancakes Are and Mexican fare from Cantina Carnitas. Of course, where there’s street food, there’s craft beer, which you’ll find at one of the six bars, alongside wine, cocktails and fresh sodas. On top of all that, there’ll be a Sunday flea market, a gallery and a live music venue for club nights, cabaret shows, talks and comedy. It’s set to be a one-stop shop for all your culinary and cultural needs.
