Tom Cruise will meet the crowds at tonight's 'Jack Reacher' premiere in Leicester Square

When Tom Cruise does premieres, he really does them. Back in 2006, he spent four hours (four hours!) shaking hands and being enthusiastic in a way only he knows how outside the London premiere for 'Mission: Impossible III'. In 2014, the actor even managed to attend premieres for 'Edge of Tomorrow' in three cities – New York, Paris and London – all on the same day (disclaimer: he wasn't flying Ryanair).

Now Cruise is back in London and ready to press some flesh. Tonight sees the European premiere of 'Jack Reacher: Never Go Back', the second action thriller adapted from Lee Child's novels. The 54-year-old actor is expected in Leicester Square from late afternoon to early evening to do his manic meet-the-crowds thing.

We've seen the film and we can report that it's not going to disappoint Cruise fans. If you like to watch him throwing punches, clenching his jaw and running a lot, it's all there for you to enjoy. Our reviewer confirms that 'Cruise's major, indefinable magnetism proves constant' and that the film itself is 'efficient, unfussy, and doesn't try to think any faster than it can run'.

'Jack Reacher: Never Go Back' is expected to start in Leicester Square at 7pm tonight, so we guess that Cruise himself could be there from any time from 5pm onwards. You won't need a map: just follow the screams.
