With dynamite timing and outrageous threads, Ryan Gosling is a blast in this action-comedy from genre veteran Shane Black (‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’, ‘Iron Man 3’). Sharply crafted but still laid back – and hilarious from the off – Black’s buddy-buddy...

Independent cinema - the kind you want to go to and support!

Probably one of the few truly independent cinemas left in London. Shortwave is nestled in the newly gentrified bosom of Bermondsey Square and is a tiny cinema (booking your tickets online is strongly recommended: the capacity of Shortwave's only screen is 52). The programme is mainly geared towards new releases and shows a good mix of commercial and indie films. The attached cafe/bar also serves a range of locally-brewed beers and snacks.
