With her deft handiwork, gorgeous natural product range and chic Fitrovia beauty salon, Vaishaly Patel is the queen bee of brows. It'll set you back a hefty £70 for a consultation and threading appointment with the lady herself or you could go to one of her assistants for £35. Also go here for Soprano Hair Removal and IPL treatments to treat pigmentation, acne scarring and wrinkles.

An international brow salon brand with branches in Manila, Shanghai, Singapore and, erm, Covent Garden. Classic threading costs from £15 and you can also get your brows tinted for £12 (or both for £20).

The sister brand of nails inc., Get Lashed operates mainly from Debenhams branches across town, offering all the brow and lash treatments you can require including brow threading from £15, false eyelash extensions from £30 and lash tints from £16.

This Asian-run salon offers traditional Ayurvedic treatments as well as threading, costing from £12 for brows and just £5 for chins. The spa also offers waxing treatments and deep-cleansing Ayurvedic facials from £55.

Get unruly brows tamed at this central London brow bar. Offering everything from threading (from £15) to tweezing and regrowth programmes, this is the place to go if your brows are in serious need of some TLC. They also offer HD Brows (£40), which is a bespoke brow service which may involve all of the above with an aim to achieveing Hollywood-esque brows. Lash tints and perms also available.
Buzzy Benefit cosmetic stores feature a brow bar where a super-quick brow wax is from just £11.50 and brow tinting from £10. While you are at it, why not get a full set of false eyelashes? A new two-floored Benefit boutique is opening up at the end of May, complete with champagne bar. Watch this space.

This lovely little salon, recently relocated down the road to number 6 Streatham High Street, is run by the lovely and fragrant Mariama Diallo-Soauré. As well as a range of great beauty treatments including pedicures and facials, you can get your brows waxed to perfection from just £9.50.

An Asian salon, much-loved by the Time Out shopping team for its cheap and effective brow threading service, costing from just £6 for brows and £2.50 for an upper lip. The little nail bar sorts out your nails with little ceremony and only moderate cost attached (£15 gets you a good manicure). The salon also offers waxing, massage, hair cuts and henna treatments. Just don’t expect service with a smile.

With nearly 20 years experience, Shavata is one of London's most established brow experts. She has recently opened her brow studio within Harrods' capacious beauty department. Here you can book in for a brow session with the lady herself for £35 or one of her trusted assistants for £25. As well as full facial waxing, you can also get brow and lash tints and lash perms.
