New for summer is the Lava Shells massage which uses tiger striped clam shells from the South Pacific. Hot Stone massage? So passe.

Not many people know about this secret beauty haven on the top floor of the most visited department store in London... Harrods.

You may not be able to afford that £6000 designer handbag on the shop floor but you can still get a taste of the finer life in the luxe spa.

Head to the 5th floor (yes to the top) and inside awaits a beauty dream. All your favourite premium skincare and make up brands, a hair salon, Moroccan hamam, facial and body treatment rooms, a hidden make up den and a nail spa. It will be hard to resist not booking into all the treatments available!

The nail spa does one of the best pedicures in London. Sit in a comfy back massage chair, order lunch from the Harrods cafe and eat it as you get pampered. I would suggest the grilled chicken and tomato sandwich with crisps on the side and a juice (around £15) They have a huge selection of Essie nail polishes and also shellac.

The facials are bliss. I had the MURAD facial with energising orange for radiance. I will definitely be booking in for another. I also visited the medispa for laser pigmentation removal. Being from sunny Sydney I had some sun damage I wanted it removed. It was successful first go and only £90 for a session.

The Moroccan hamam provides a traditional Turkish hamam experience. So if you like a scrub down, relaxing in hot steam rooms and body treatments this is the place for you. The facilities are only available to woman, sorry guys.

The make up den uniqueness is that it features a number of the best make up brands, and unlike other department store beauty halls the consultants are trained by all the brands and will recommend the right brand and product for your make up look.

Book yourself a pamper day... You deserve it.

Shavata herself did my brows.  She was 25 minutes late, offered no apology nor explanation, she then did a rather sloppy job and I didn't like the shape.  Overall, given that her work was poor quality, and that she was rather rude and unprofessional, and doesn't seem to have much respect for her clients, I wouldn't go to see Shavata again and don't recomment her.
