Bermondsey Vietnamese, Caphe House, has upped sticks and moved north of the river to this Smithfield location. They've changed their name, too - to reflect the dish in which they now specialise.
Expect, then, pho to feature prominently on the menu, with options including chicken, beef, tofu and shitake, prawns and a 'special' pho of prawns, chicken and beef. Bun bo hue - spicy, lemongrass noodle soups - are available, too. The menu also features summer rolls, traditional papaya salads, crispy sea bass in lemongrass, salt and chilli, and com rang - wok-fried rice with chicken and king prawns.
A short drinks list includes Saigon Export, Saigon Special and Hanoi beers, alongside a few bottles of wine from well-known winemaking regions across the world. Smoothies, fresh juices, Vietnamese coffee and herbal teas also feature.
Vietnamese cuisine is one of the healthiest in the world. Dishes are made daily with fresh ingredients and our pho is made with our own unique stock recipe. It contains a meal in a bowl: protein, vitamins, carbohydrates - and it tastes great!
Caphe Pho will aim to serve you irresistible Vietnamese cooking together with great service. We look forward to welcoming you.
