The first venture from Tom and Ed Martin, the brothers behind the award winning pub and dining room The Gun, in E14, and The White Swan in EC4, The Well provides a modern twist on the traditional pub, with an emphasis on high quality British produce. Situated in the heart of Clerkenwell, The Well takes its name from the nearby twelfth century watering–hole where London Parish Clerks performed annual mystery plays in the Middle Ages.
The Well is spread across two floors and combines a welcoming ground floor pub and cosy downstairs cocktail den. Mixing rustic charm with contemporary chic, it offers devoted customers a place where they can enjoy a relaxed drink, casual business lunch, social gathering with friends or private party.
