80 Love It
The Old Cinema
Turnham Green

Housed in a former 1890s cinema, this vintage and antiques store is a great spot for finding striking furniture pieces; think utilitarian lockers, steel desks or mid-twentieth century sideboards, as well as smaller items including battered old trunks and Anglepoise lamps. There’s plenty here for Danish design lovers, but The Old Cinema also sources more serious international antique investment items – including some intriguing Chinese and Indian finds – as well as skilfully upcycled pieces.

Well worth the visit to Chiswick alone, amazing furniture and ‘stuff’ showroom with really high quality selection. Lots of signage and cabinets, everything with a high finish.

I guess if you’ve ever been in Brighton’s Snoopers Paradise this is the very very grown up version.

Price-wise its on the expensive side, not much of a bargain rummage but great if you’re looking for something special or collectable.

The most interesting shopping experience, this place is inspiring with its huge diversity of interiors for home, office, shop, even hotels, if your looking for ideas you must visit.

The most brilliant and magical place to spend hours looking at/for a variety of different styles of furniture - I'm so in love with The Old Cinema!

Live near Chiswick? Need to buy a birthday or Christmas gift for THAT hipster friend we all have?

The Old Cinema has you covered!

A carefully curated vintage/antique store. Yes, I know, that sounds expensive -and some of the inventory IS expensive- but you can always find something fun and affordable... because it's not like THAT hipster friend is your bestie or anything. A twenty five quid friend, tops.
