Finger puppets and children's playthings may be the only kind of felted art kids know, but once they see the woolly works in Gallery Hanahou's new exhibit, they'll likely want to get their hands on them, too. The show presents four crafters who get to the cutting edge of soft sculpture—artists Moxie, Hine Mizushima, Kit Lane and Yoko Nomura—and organizes their whimsical creatures and worlds in four separate sections. Themes like Fractured Fairytales and the Unnatural History Museum will keep curious little visitors riveted to the cuddle-worthy pieces on display, and may even inspire some crafts when you get home. Free. Through Apr 1. Mon--Fri noon--6pm. Gallery Hanahou, 611 Broadway at W Houston St, suite 730 (646-486-6586, galleryhanahou.com).
