Planning your next family vacation or weekend trip? Time to rent that Zipcar and head to Lincoln, New Hampshire! Ice Castles NH is the perfect place to play Elsa and explore a life-sized ice playscape full of walk-through pathways, tunnels, crawl spaces and slides. If you're lucky, you might even catch one of the ice princesses (*Ahem* ANNA AND ELSA) for a fun photo op. The whole setup is especially cool in the evening when all of the ice structures are lit from the inside...it's definitely worth the six-hour trip.

Fun facts:

- Each Ice Castle weights about 25,000,000 pounds (walls are about 10’ thick)!

- 10,000 icicles are “grown” every day!

P.S. If you’re like most visiting families and wonder about falling icicles, never fear. The Ice Castles crew says there’s no need to worry (and explains why in great detail). Visit their FAQ page for more info!
