Believe it or not, Upicnic will deliver food of your choosing (from their menu) to your exact location at any NYC park; all you need to do is go on their website and “fill your basket” with made-to-order snacks and meals! Upon request, they’ll even deliver things like fun sports gear, classic lawn games, sunscreen and battery packs so your kids won’t have the chance to be bored.
Another great thing to note: You can order as close as two days in advance (and as far out as a few weeks ahead) and the service will accommodate up to eight people. The most unique package available is the HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival package on July 4th (Top Gun—more appropriate for mom and dad date night), where Upicnic will not only provide you with a blanket, chairs and a meal but will also save you one of the best seats in the house for a grand total of $200.
