2013 Jumpin' Juniper Festival: Funmilayo Chesney

Professional children's performer and educator Joanna Walchuck will take on the persona of Jumpin' Juniper, a 105-year-old forest sprite, to host a series of interactive performances driven by imagination. This morning, Funmilayo Chesney and Cumbe: Center for African and Diaspora Dance will perform "Dance Around the World," a celebration of dance and music in the Congo. If tots start feeling antsy during the show, they can retreat to a well-equipped play room. All ages.
