Three Kings Day Parade

Christmas may seem like a distant memory by now, but in many Latin American cultures the holiday season continues through the first week of January, when families celebrate the magi's visit to Bethlehem. To uphold that tradition, New Yorkers flocked to the streets of East Harlem on Friday, January 4 for El Museo del Barrio's annual Three Kings Day Parade, where camels, puppets, marching bands and regally dressed schoolchildren paid homage to that famous trio of wise men. Scroll through our photos of the procession to see if you can find your kid sporting a crown—and keep an eye out for the three kings themselves!
