Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! The world-renowned Big Apple Circus is returning to New York City for its 37th season.
With Ringmaster John Kennedy Kane at the helm, this year's production, Metamorphosis, promises to transport audiences to "a dreamscape domain" of "enchantment and illusion." Kids and adults alike will be awestruck by the fearless trapeze flyers, gravity-defying acrobats, freakily flexible contortionists and lightning-fast quick-change artists. What's more, none of the seats under the climate-controlled big top is more than 50 feet from the ring, ensuring audience members won't miss a single spectacular moment.
The cast of extraordinary performers will be joined by dogs, horses and even camels (handled by expert animal trainer Jenny Vidbel). The Big Apple Band provides a live soundtrack to the spellbinding performance. The show runs two hours with intermission.
