If anyone thought the Harry Potter phenomenon would go away just because the kids who read the books as they came out are all grown up, they've been proved wrong. J.K. Rowling's astonishing book series just won't relinquish its hold on the imaginations of kids ages 8 and up—to the extent that once kids are finished with the series, they're often at a loss to find something even half as good to read. If you've got a fervant Muggle on your hands, don't miss the chance to see "Harry Potter: The Exhibition," which returned to Discovery Times Square in December for an encore run (it debuted in 2011), this weekend: It closes on Sunday, April 7. The ticket price may be high, but think of what the series has done for your kid's love of reading and you may decide it's worth the splurge.
