The Children’s Museum of Manhattan is jam-packed with interactive exhibits that can teach your mini me about everything from spelling to bodily functions, but the “Frolic!” play space in the museum’s basement is a favorite spot of many small visitors. The 1,500-square-foot area boasts a colorful replica of a ’70s Volkswagen minivan and a Rolling Stones–inspired tongue slide, making it the perfect spot for a music-themed party. The Rock ‘n’ Roll bash gets you exclusive use of the space, CMOM staff to lend a hand, fun party invites, live guitar music and an art project for the kids. Partygoers can play along on inflatable instruments and get in on games before chowing down on pizza, juice and a cake from Magnolia Bakery. Ages 1–5.
