Good news if your daughter isn't the Brownie type: You can once again stock up on Do-Si-Dos and Tagalongs at one of the five "Cookie Cupboards" around NYC. Through the week of May 9, local Girl Scout staffers and volunteers will be staffing pop-up stores in every borough so that sweet-toothed families can munch on their favorite Girl Scout cookies. Whether you like 'em plain and simple (Trefoils) or striped and gooey (Samoas), your brood will be contributing to the education of local girls as they learn the five skills of selling Girl Scout cookies: decision making, goal setting, money management, people skills, and business ethics.
