Hanukkah for kids in NYC 2013: Where to celebrate the holiday

Celebrate Hanukkah for kids at a holiday concert, a craft workshop or a menorah lighting at one of these Festival of Lights events.

Have a happier-than-ever Hanukkah with holiday events that run the gamut: This year, expect rockin’ concerts at the Jewish Museum and the Museum of Jewish Heritage, plus other Hanukkah for kids events like menorah lightings at the JCC and 92Y. And of course, 2013 is an extra special year for for the holiday, due to the once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon of Thanksgivukah—the last time Hanukkah and Thanksgiving fell on the same day was in 1888! Here’s where city families can nibble on latkes and gelt, take in holiday tunes and fete those eight crazy nights.
