New York City Fire Museum's Annual Santa Rescue

A sleigh pulled by reindeer may seem like a reliable form of transportation if, like St. Nick, you hail from the North Pole. But what happens if those reindeer leave you behind? Thankfully, when Santa's furry flight crew left him stranded on the rooftop of the New York City Fire Museum on Sunday, December 8, they left him in good hands. Spurred on by cheers from passersby, New York's Bravest managed to save the jolly red fellow with plenty of time to spare before his Christmas responsibilites kick in. Families then headed inside the Fire Museum for photo sessions with Santa, as well as hot chocolate, Christmas carols and hot dogs. Click through our slide show to check out the courageous feat and see if you can spot your brood!
