Joyce Hansen's children's book, Home is With Our Family, is about Maria Peters, an African-American girl living in 1850s New York City whose home is destroyed to make way for Central Park. Museum educators will lead tots on a trip to Central Park and discuss the book along the way. Ages 9 to 12.
