Reading into History Family Book Club at the New-York Historical Society
Young historical fiction connoisseurs gather in this monthly book club to discuss the current read and learn about the historical period in which it takes place, examining museum artifacts that relate to the book’s topic. In between meetings, readers share their reactions online and even correspond with some of their favorite authors. In December, join in a conversation with Barbara Wright to discuss her book Crow about an African American boy's experiences during the Reconstruction Era. Ages 9 to 12.
