Yet another winter storm has swept through NYC this season, but don't let the chill keep your family indoors! Don your warmest snow gear and head to Brooklyn Bridge Park with the kids tomorrow to test your skills in a snow sculpture contest! The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy is putting the fluffy snowdrifts to good use with a friendly competition at the Picnic Peninsula at Pier 5 (near Joralemon St) from noon to 2pm on Saturday, February 15.

After signing up at the blue Conservancy tent on-site, teams of up to four members will band together to sculpt incredible snowmen and every kind of snow creature imaginable. Once your team's masterpiece is complete, warm up with complimentary hot chocolate and treats from Fornino, and scope out the competition. Winning teams will be announce at 2pm. Participants have the chance to take home prizes including ski passes to Stratton Mountain Ski Resort, or gifts from Waterfront Wines, the Moxie Spot and Fornino—all Brooklyn establishments.
