Sinister Pop Family Day at the Whitney Museum of American Art
The Whitney pulled out the stops for its latest family day, giving kids interactive ways to explore Pop Art and the museum's "Sinister Pop" show.
Tue Mar 12 2013
The Whitney's latest exhibit-feting bash—postponed to March due to Nemo's arrival last month—invited families to check out its exhibition "Sinister Pop" (through March 31), a look at the dark side of the normally pretty cheerful American movement. While taking it in, kids were regaled by interactive performance art in the galleries, tried out karaoke, made art and pondered the meaning of celebrity by getting their pictures taken on the red carpet. Check out all the fun by clicking through our slide show of the day's activities. Whitney: You throw some rockin' parties!
