Union Square Park is the place to be on Thursdays thanks to this popular free series offering a stellar lineup of children’s entertainment. Every week, little yogis can practice their sun salutations with Karma Kids yoga (10:30am), followed by lively shows from top-notch performers like local faves Rolie Polie Guacamole (June 16), award-winning multicultural music group Hot Peas ’N Butter (July 7) and the Gazillion Bubble Show (August 11), which enchants kids both small and big (we’re looking at you, parents) with interactive bubble wizardry. Kick back after the show with Storytime at 2pm, but be ready to get up and move again when PopFit Kids’ FUNctional Fitness program kicks off at 3pm. Don’t forget to bring a blanket—and snacks! Union Square Park. All ages.
