Time Out acquires Time Out Chicago
It joins Time Out Group owned-and-operated cities in New York, LA, London and Paris.

We just wanted to let you know about an exciting development for Time Out in North America with the acquisition of Time Out Chicago.
Started as a joint enterprise in 2005, we were thrilled that Time Out was launching in Chicago, a hub for American art, a legendary home for innovative comedy and theater, and a foodie destination. Over the past nine years, Time Out Chicago has developed a large, loyal audience and become a go-to destination for what to do in the Windy City and that did not change when Time Out Chicago became a separate company in 2010. We’re delighted to let you know today that Time Out has acquired Time Out Chicago, including Time Out Chicago Kids, making it one of the Time Out Group owned and operated cities joining New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris.
Chicagoans will soon reap the benefits of the Time Out Group’s digital offerings, with an improved website and mobile and iPad apps, so if you’re intending to visit, and it’s a great place to visit and enjoy with your children, you’ll soon be able to use your Time Out apps to discover the city.
