Modernist riffs on the female figure serve as the source material for this L.A. artist's spirited examination of the feminine mystique, filtered through a postfeminist, revivalist prism. In several of the paintings, the titular color acts as soothing background for compositions crowded with sinuous outlines of eyes, thighs, legs, breasts and feet.
