Michael Raedecker

The brooding, often monochromatic canvases by Raedecker, a Dutch painter who calls London home, share some things with the work of Luc Tuymans, most notably a knack for imbuing depictions of seemingly ordinary scenes—mainly domestic interiors and images of houses—with a sense of foreboding.
