Time Out says

The Pakistani artist is best known for contemporary updates on the miniature painting that flourished on the Indian subcontinent during the Mughal era (1526–1857). This approach has been notably put to use in a series of large-scale installations in which pools of wet paint splattered across a floor serve as connecting points for intricate floral patterns that can wind up covering an entire courtyard. Qureshi creates something similar here for the Met roof.
