Sci-fi author William F. Wu mined his collection of more than 500 comics featuring Asian and Asian-American characters for this exhibit, which debuted at NYU's Fales Library in 2011. The show looks at representations of these characters in comic books—including several unsettling tomes from the World War II era—and how these publications' attitudes toward Asians and Asian-Americans evolved over time.
