Located in Prospect Park's early-20th-century Boathouse, the Audubon Center is devoted to wildlife preservation and education and contains the park's visitor's center, a café and an exhibition area. It is the first urban Audubon center in the United States.

Early Morning Bird Walk: Twelve Birds of Winter

Special interest

Kids old enough to stay focused and quiet can join folks from the Brooklyn Bird Club for a walk through Prospect Park in search of its wintering avian inhabitants. The tour takes place when the birds are at their most active. Ages 8 and up.
