Location, Euro-celebs, cute little porthole windows: The Maritime Hotel seems to have its advantages. So why does scenester-scoping at this Italian-themed bar leave something to be desired? Maybe bankers and poseurs don’t make for an exciting mix. Maybe park benches don’t make comfy perches. In good weather, take a table on the breezy terrace overlooking Ninth Avenue and sip a $6 Moretti or Peroni then trot on down to Pastis, where the real action is.
