MObar (CLOSED)

Although MObar is on the 35th floor of the glossy Time Warner Center, it has, unhappily, largely ceded city views to neighboring restaurant Asiate. Never mind its interior is plenty easy on the eyes. Expect to compete with postfraternity, pre–Forbes' list Ben Affleck look-alikes for the plush leather chairs or the large booth tucked away in the back. Staffers are dressed in modified kimonos befitting the bar’s Asian theme, and they bow to patrons before taking drink orders (but truthfully, they don’t look so thrilled about it).
