Editorial platform Culture Collide is hitting NYC this week to present a free two-day concert at the Knitting Factory. Topping the bill on Thu 23 are fuzz-punk locals Hunters and Atlanta garage-rock quartet Gringo Star, and Fri 24 boasts sets from indie-rock quartet Splashh and surf-psych three piece the Wytches. And get this, you can bring a piece of vinyl from your own collection and DJ Tommy D Funk will mix it into his set. How's that for service?

Head over to the Culture Collide website to see the full lineup and R.S.V.P. for free entry.

(Looking for more cool shows this week? You're in luck, because CMJ kicked off today. Check out our ten acts to see.)
