Christmas is over—now what?!? (Here's what!)

You wait and you wait and you wait and finally the day arrives: Christmas. It's cozy and filled with presents and food (and possibly some interrogation about your love life/career path/general life goals). If you don't celebrate, it means a day off of work, sleeping in, and that great New York tradition of Chinese and a movie. AND NOW IT'S OVER. So you're either exhausted from the day or bummed that it's 364 days until the next one, but either way, you're ready to submit to a long patch of winter depression, right? WE SAY NAY. There's actually some super rad stuff you can go do this weekend, starting right now! Shake it off, New York!

Go to a dance party in your PJs! Output in Williamsburg is here to stave off the winter doldrums. Tonight's the Hard & Soul Pajama Party featuring Danny Tenaglia, where you'll dance to house, techno, tribal and classics. So long, Christmas-cookie coma; hellllloooo, booty shaking.

Go to ANOTHER dance party in your PJs! No, really! Partying while comfy is the theme of the weekend. The good folks at Union Hall understand that your desire to shake that thang and not change out of your leggings are equally strong. So head there Saturday night at 10 p.m. for PJs and DJs, where you can dance to hits from the past 15 years without ditching the fuzzy slippers. (This may be the best kind of party we've ever heard of.)

Laugh your butt off. "Merry Hanukkah with Judy Gold" at Carolines on Broadway wraps tonight, so there's still time to catch the comedy goddess!

Be cool, cat. The Blue Note's got multiple shows tonight, including from trumpet great Chris Botti and a 12:30 a.m. blues show for all you night owls/people strung out on Christmas sugar.

Have a brunch that's not a drag. Or…that is a drag. What better way to turn up the volume on your weekend, amirite? Drinks specials + a drag show in Hell's Kitchen. Yep. Hard to feel depressed about the end of the holiday season while drinking endless mimosas and having an Amazonian drag queen serenade you with Mariah.

Get totes old-school. Check out the Freddy Cole Quartet at Birdland to shoo-bop-de-bop your way out of the post-Christmas slump. (He's Nat King Cole's brother!)

Check out a fantastically cheesy midnight movie. We say do this one in your PJs, too. IFC Center's got a 12:20 screening of Showgirls, so if you're too tired to shake your own ta tas, go watch someone else do it.

Binge-watch the best new thing on Netflix. If you really, really don't want to go out (we feel you), start watching Making a Murderer. You won't be able to stop. (And then it'll be Saturday and you can just get up and go to brunch.)
