Aside from Bastille Day, 4th of July might be the only feasible day to wear red, white and blue in unison. Sure, it’s a little cheesy—but if you have the opportunity to paint the American Flag, Uncle Sam or fireworks shooting red, white and blue sparks on all ten digits, then hell, when will get the chance to pull that off again? In honor of the upcoming holiday, we turned to Instagram (for scientific purposes) to see how many New Yorkers are currently sporting some way over-the-top (and a little bit obnoxious) patriotic nail art to help us get in the spirit of ‘Murica.
