When you live in the most expensive city in America, it can be hard to stick to a budget. Luckily, we've got you covered. Whether you're looking for a concertart exhibitcomedy show or even a date idea, there are plenty of places to good time without paying a dime. Here are the best free parties, cultural events and things to do between now and next Wednesday.

Seinfeld Trivia
Followers of Seinfeld know that the hilarious sitcom is self-described as “the show about nothing.” But you and your clan will have to know something in order to get a high score during five unique but challenging trivia rounds involving subjects like cockfighting, mail fraud and pee-stained couches. Organize a four-person bizarro team, and study up on all things Kramer, Jerry, George and Elaine to win free booze among other ace prizes. Abbey Tavern, 354 Third Ave (212-696-1011, triviaad.com). Wed 25 8–9:30pm.

Out of Line: Renegade Cabaret
There’s no better time to walk the High Line, especially now that it’s warm enough to enjoy a long, moonlit stroll and do a little stargazing. If that’s not enough incentive, Friends of the High Line will coax you in with free, late-night entertainment on the elevated park. This week, catch the talented Renegade Cabaret, a troupe of nightlife stars who serenade you during this uniquely wonderful performance. The High Line at West 14th Street (thehighline.org). Thu 26 9–10pm.

“New York Love Story” exhibition opening
We can’t blame German-born shutterbug Karsten Staiger for loving New York (we share the same adoration, dude). Using Gotham’s breathtaking cityscape as his muse, Staiger has snapped a series of stunning large-format photographs showcasing some magical moments he’s captured in NYC over the past 10 years. You’ll be impressed and inspired by Staiger’s unique bird’s eye view. German Consulate General New York, 871 United Nations Plaza (212-610-9700, eventbrite.com). Thu 26 6–8pm.

Legendary Beer Run by ERRE Run Group
Sipping brews with your best buds is a great way to unwind after a long day of work, but booze-loving athletes from ERRE Run Group found a way to make those suds taste even sweeter. Folks of all fitness levels are welcome to jog around hot spots in Queens and work up a sweat, then enjoy a celebratory refreshing pint at a local watering hole. A three-plus-mile run doesn’t sound so bad when there’s the promise of beer at the finish line, right? Oh, and the first round is on ERRE. Score! Legends Bar, 71-04 35th Ave, Queens (718-899-9553, eventbrite.com). Thu 26 7–8:30pm.

ConBody Bootcamp
This free workout may be described as a “prison-style bootcamp,” but don’t worry—there’s no orange jumpsuit or ball and chain involved. The seemingly scary fitness routine is actually led by a team of super-friendly instructors who guide you through a variety of resistance exercises using your body weight. (No dumbbells necessary). Sport your best fitness getup, bring a water bottle, and head to the cool Lowline Lab to give the class a whirl and tone your biceps. Lowline Lab, 140 Essex St (thelowline.org). Sat 28 11:30am–12:30pm.
