Laugh AND eat at the Empire Biscuit Comedy Festival
The Lower East Side biscuit mecca is dedicating itself to comedy with more than 40 stand-up comedians appearing over nine shows in three nights. While you munch on your fluffy complimentary biscuit, some of the best comics from across the city, including Sasheer Zamata (SNL), David Bluvband (The Chris Gethard Show), Shakir Standley (Last Comic Standing) and Mike Lawrence (@midnight), will serve fresh-baked jokes. Biscuit and (non-alcoholic) drink included in ticket price!
Empire Biscuit, East Village, shows at 7pm, 9pm and 11pm, $16, $14 advance

Jam to J. Cole + Big Sean + YG + Jeremih at PNC Bank Arts Center
You won't regret making the trek across the mighty Hudson for this one: the headlining North Carolina native rapper has three Billboard 200 No. 1s to his name, and is accompanied by Detroit native and rising star Big Sean.
PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey, 6:30pm; $28-$110.75

See a comedy twist on a classic at Ghostblasters
For the last year, the good folks at Unauthorized! have been producing fully staged, interactive musical parodies of popular movies including Back to the Future, The Hunger Games and Steel Magnolias. Now they're out to prove they aren't afraid of no ghosts when they "show this prehistoric bitch how we do things [at the PIT]."
Peoples Improv Theater, 8pm, $20
