Two very different kinds of New Years Eve stadium shows were just announced, and we're guessing you're going to fall firmly into one camp or the other.

In Brooklyn, pop piano legend Elton John will be performing at Barclays Center with his band and a legion of butt-wiggling fans. Can you pass up the chance to ring in 2015 with "Crocodile Rock," "Rocket Man" and "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight" (ok that last one's a Spinal Tap tune)? If the answer is a hearty "hell no" (or if you immediately burst into the chorus of "Hakuna Matata"), tickets go on sale Friday, Sep 26 at 10am.

Or maybe a great big slab of soul-crushing, face-melting beats is more to your liking? Let's face it, no matter how deftly Sir Elton tickles those ivories, you're going to have trouble pumping your fist to more than a few bars of "Your Song," so you'll likely be better off catching Skrillex and Diplo performing as Jack U at Madison Square GardenTickets go on sale this Friday, Sep 19 at noon. In the meantime, have a listen below to the duo's new banger, "Take U There," featuring Canadian dance-pop darling Kiesza.
