Merle Hodge + Jamaica Kincaid

Two West Indian writers share this bill. Trinidadian Jamaica Hodge's two famous works—Crick Crack, Monkey and For the Love of Laetitia—are about young women growing up with Caribbean roots. Kincaid, who is Antiguan, plays with poetic autobiography in her work, including a recent story of marriage and family, See Now Then.
