The intrepid International Contemporary Ensemble returns to Miller Theatre to spotlight Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina; the program spans a little more than two decades of finely drawn works suffused in personal mysticism. Included on the bill are her Meditation on the Bach Chorale “Vor deinen Thron tret' ich hiermit” (1993), Trio (1989), Concerto for Bassoon and Low Strings (1975) and Concordanza (1971); Rebekah Heller is featured in the concerto, and Christian Knapp conducts.
