Ensemble ACJW

Prices for performances by this versatile group jointly fielded by Carnegie Hall, the Juilliard School and the Weill Music Institute seem to have crept up lately, but only on special occasions. This concert, in which charismatic conductor David Robertson leads Berio's Folk Songs (with brilliant soprano Dawn Upshaw), Steve Reich's City Life and Bartók's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta, is definitely such an event.
