Gregg Kallor

A pianist and composer who deftly balances modern-classical and jazz-inspired impulses in his handsomely constructed, approachable and engaging works, Gregg Kallor celebrates the release of A Single Noon. The CD, which he premiered at Carnegie Hall in 2011, features a solo-piano cycle inspired by New York City life. Also on tonight's program is a premiere, Undercurrent, which Kallor introduces with cellist Laura Metcalf.
