Juilliard String Quartet

This venerable and still quite vital string quartet plays its first New York concert with its new violist, Roger Tapping, a former member of the comparably illustrious Takacs Quartet. Featured are canonical Beethoven (Op. 18, No. 2) and Schubert (D. 887), plus the New York premiere of Jesse Jones's String Quartet No. 3.
