Time Out says
Thu Mar 15 2012
With Joseph Lin now nicely settled into his recently assumed role as leader of this elite foursome, change looms again: Violist Samuel Rhodes will depart at the end of the season; Roger Tapping, formerly of the Takács Quartet, is set to take his place. Tonight, after a curtain-raising rendition of Beethoven's Quartet in F (Op. 135), Rhodes and Tapping share the stage for viola quintets by Mozart and, fittingly, Rhodes. Free tickets are available in advance at the Juilliard box office.
