Illustrious conductor Simon Rattle rekindles his warm ongoing relationship with the Fabulous Philadelphians, offering a provocative bill. The dazzling soprano Barbara Hannigan is featured in Berg’s intense Three Fragments from Wozzeck and Ligeti’s brittle, virtuosic Mysteries of the Macabre; Webern’s lush Passacaglia opens the program, and Beethoven’s easeful Symphony No. 6, "Pastorale,” concludes it.
