The Song Continues…

This annual workshop festival, initiated by the Marilyn Horne Foundation and now carried on by Carnegie Hall in her honor, offers art-song lovers a chance to hear some of the opera world's most promising young voices. This year's lineup includes the customary mix of recitals and public master classes (including one led by the great Christa Ludwig on Wednesday, Jan 15), and ends with Horne as guest of honor at a starry 80th-birthday celebration on Thursday, Jan 16.
