The man born Haim Srge El Baaz, but much better known under his DJ-production moniker Cheb i Sabbah, has been one of the world's leading world-music--electronica fusionists for eons, but it's been years since the Algeria-born, Paris-bred, San Fran--based artist has played here in Gotham. That's changing this week in a big way: He's appearing at three separate gigs, with stops at Darma in the Dance Hall on Saturday 23, Yoga on the Dance Floor on Sunday 24, and—perhaps for the less nirvana inclined—Deep Space on Monday 25.
