    “This is a great location with good vibes—something different for a change. [In New York] the dance-music scene is still up-and coming; it’s still underground, which makes it amazing. The main party promoters want to keep the location secret, and it makes it kick-ass that [a party] is on a boat, then suddenly it’s on the waterfront, then in a hotel, then it’s in Manhattan where you’d think millions of tourists would be; but when you go it’s, like, totally blacked out.”

The Verboten bunch invites the notorious Circoloco crew to Manhattan.

For a memorable night on the town, it’s best to think outside the box—or at the very least, outside the club. Verboten kicked off the summer early as they joined forces with Ibiza’s Circoloco fiesta at Pier 17’s Beekman Beer Garden, where guests got the chance to party down along the East River. The Moon Harbour label’s Matthias Tanzmann and veteran mix-master DJ Sneak were among the all-star lineup of house and techno spinners that kept the crowd going until late at night. And then? An after-party at the Morgan in Bushwick, of course!
